| American Antiquarian Society Copy Notes | Subject: Image of a young girl and a dog in a European style setting. The girl holds a book in her left proper hand and pulls on a door latch on a large wooden door with her right porper hand. To her right is a large dog, holding a basket with a book and a glass bottle. Behind them is a view of a village and two young girls with baskets picking berries from a shrub. Notes: Attributed to the Dubois family based on the size, style and paper used in the chromolithographs they produced as the Fall River Lithographic Co. from 1856 to 1869.
