The child holds a rose in her right hand. A willow tree is behind the monument. Roses grow around the monument. In the far center background is a church steeple. Notes: The American Antiquarian Society copy is inscribed in memory of: Mrs. Sally S. Dirby who died May 11. 1843, aged 52 yrs. Harriet Dirby who died Apr. 27. 1844 aged 20 yrs.
