| Catalog Notes | Wood-engraved plates, apparently from the same book. Many of the plates feature family scenes. Judging from the "black line" style of wood engraving and the styles of clothing worn by the children in the pictures, these plates were probably produced some time between 1840 and 1859. Plates numbered 7, 11, 19, 23, 27, 35, 39, 43, and 47. Some plates are signed, "AA" (i.e., Alexander Anderson?). |
