The queen of the Pirate Isle was issued in November 1900 with the Frederick Warne & Co. imprint. The phrase "and New York" is transposed in imprint statement transcription; the phrase appears below "Frederick Warne and Co." on title page. "Printed in Great Britain"--ink stamp, at foot of title page. Half title leaf included in pagination. In unbleached linen cover printed in gilt, red, yellow, blue, green, brown, and black ink. Edges tinted red. White endpapers. Pictorial vignettes on front and back covers. Illustrations produced by a relief process in colored ink. |
