| Catalog Notes | In verse. Title, imprint statement, and series transcribed from p. [1] of wrapper. Series transposed; appears between title and imprint statement. By Heinrich Hoffmann. Variant issues: in the issue in hand, most of the illustrations are in curved three-quarter frames; color illustrations printed with blocks textured with lines. In another issue, most of the illustrations are in square frames; color illustrations printed with blocks bearing a stippled texture (zinc etchings?). "McLoughlin Bros., 30 Beekman Street, New York"--publisher's advertisement for paper dolls and paper furniture, p. [4] of wrapper.
