| Catalog Notes | Pictures with prose captions. Title, imprint, and series statement from wrapper. Series statement transposed from head of title. Variant states noted: one copy bears wrapper printed in red and black ink, while in another copy the wrapper is printed in red, green, and black ink; p. [4] of red and black wrapper includes "Electrotyped by Vincent Dill, 25 & 27 New Chambers Street, N.Y." Vincent Dill was located at that address from 1867 through at least 1880. Wrapper and textual illustrations printed in color by a relief process (zinc etching?). Illustrations signed "Cogger sc." (i.e., Edward P. Cogger?). Includes publisher's advertisement, p.
