Variety cob-house building blocks. ... Criss cross spelling slips. ... Games of Cash and Akambo, ... Game of Mon."--publisher's advertisement, p. [4] of wrapper (one copy in hand). The games Cash and Akambo were listed under "New stock for the seasons of 1882 and 1883" in the McLoughlin Bros. catalogue for that year. Both the advertisement and the catalogue list the price for each game at 2.00. Another copy bears an advertisement for Aunt Kate's series, which is priced at 15 cents each. This same price is listed in the McLoughlin catalogue for 1882. Plates printed in color by a relief process (zinc etching?). "Picture books for little children. ... Mother Hubbard's dog"--series title and list, p. [4] of wrapper.
