Title and imprint statement transcribed from upper cover. Advertisement, lower cover, mentions Big picture series, 31 kinds, quarto demi, 25 cts.; Uncle Ned's picture books and Gilt cover picture books, both large 8vo, 15 cts., Golden light series, quarto cap, printed in colors, 6 kinds, 15 cts., and Half-hours with the Bible, 12 kinds, 15 cts. These descriptions match those given in the McLoughlin trade catalogue for 1875, with the exception of the Big picture series, which the catalogue lists as "Aunt Louisa's big picture books ... fifty kinds."
