McLoughlin Bros. was located at 30 Beekman St., New York, between 1863 and April, 1870. (See obituary for John McLoughlin, Publishers' weekly, May 6, 1905.) "Stereotyped by Vincent Dill, 25 & 27 New Chambers Street, New York."--at foot of p. [4] of wrapper. Vincent Dill was located at that address between 1867 and at least 1880. Wrapper printed in red and black ink. Wrapper design signed by Edward P. Cogger. Textual wood engravings hand-colored. "Dame Wonders'. Colored picture books. 12mo. ... The little sailor boy ...
