McLoughlin Brothers, Inc. was located at 71 & 73 Duane St. between 1871 and 1886. Advertisement includes entries for Goody Two-Shoes spelling blocks ("Three sizes.--No. 1, 1.00. No. 2, 1.50. No. 3, 2.00"), and for Swift's combination toy blocks (four sets available; no. 1 contains 36 blocks at 1.00; no. 2 contains 52 blocks at 1.50). The Catalogue of McLoughlin Bros., toy books ... [1886] at the subsequent address of 623 Broadway. Pages [8-96] numbered 3-91 (even-numbered rectos). Pictorial cover chromolithographed. Cover illustration signed by "Howard del."
