| Catalog Notes | Title from caption. Copy in hand lacks wrapper, title page, and p. 15-16. Imprint conjectured from similar item in RLIN, titled "The story of little Benjamin, or, Confess your faults." Includes "Hymn of gratitude," p. 12-16. This poem, which begins "Who called me first his little boy," is similar in format to Mary Belson Elliott's poems of "My father" and "My mother," published in a volume titled Grateful tributes, and also resembles Jane Taylor's "My mother," but the text is not the same as any of these works. |
