Publisher's advertisement includes ads for One syllable primer, Linen a.b.c. book, Aunt Louisa's big picture books, and New pantomime toy books. Similar descriptions of the last two named series were published in the forementioned McLoughlin catalog for 1882. Cover and plates chromolithographed. Plates pasted to pages; each plate contains flaps on either side, to expose a new scene when lifted. First and fourth plates signed by Justin H. Howard. |
