Fisher & Brother was located at 12 North Sixth St., Philadelphia, between 1862 and 1868. The address changes to 9 North Sixth St. in the directory for 1868-69. Fisher & Brother also published at 64 W. Baltimore St., Baltimore, between 1855 and 1864. According to the Baltimore directory for 1865-66, the firm name changed to Fisher and Denison. First and last page blank; pasted to wrapper. Wood engraving on p. [2] signed by "E. Rogers sc.," "Fisher & Brother's Great big toy books, twelve kinds, sixteen pages each. Printed and splendidly colored on all sides. No blank pages."--advertisement, p. [4] of wrapper. "Remarks."--p. [15], on the importance of childhood literacy. |
