Whitney, L.M., History of Madison Co., 1872, p. 607-608. The American Antiquarian Society has two other titles issued by the Stationer's Company (Bouckville, N.Y.). In both cases, the Stationer's Company imprint statement appears on the wrapper, while the title page imprint statement bears the name of Bouckville publisher Butler Maynard. Maynard moved from Hamilton, Mass. to Bouckville, N.Y. in 1840. Cf. Tuttle, W.H. Names and sketches of the pioneer settlers of Madison Co., N.Y., 1984. In printed wrapper. Hymn, p. 13. |
