| Catalog Notes | One chromolithographed plate followed by leaves of illustrations in outline for coloring. Painting instructions, pastedown endpaper of upper cover. Title and imprint statement transcribed from upper cover. A lithograph of a sitting child playing with a kitten appears on lower cover. This pictorial lithograph design is characteristic of McLoughlin titles issued between 1886 and 1910. A similarly designed issue in the Cinderella series is also dated ca. 1886. "25 cent books ...
