This advertisement was used by both John McLoughlin, who printed as an individual in New York between 1851 and 1858, and McLoughlin Bros., which published in New York from 1858 until 1920. "Stereotyped by Vincent Dill, nos. 29 & 31 Beekman Street, N.Y."--at foot of p. [4] of wrapper. Vincent Dill was located at that address between 1852 and 1859. Costume of children portrayed in wood engraving, p. [1] of wrapper, is characteristic of that worn in the 1840s and 1850s. Series title transposed from head of title page.
