Front and back cover bear pictorial designs of the dying crow surrounded by his family. Both of these pictures are set in circular frames. Both the red frame and the circularly framed pictorial designs on the front and back cover are characteristic of McLoughlin titles issued between 1886 and 1910. Wrapper and textual illustrations produced by a relief process (zinc etchings?) and printed in color. |
