Babcock 121 Chapel Street New Haven"--cover imprint statement. Sidney Babcock was located at 121 Chapel St., New Haven, between 1841 and 1861. "Teller's tales. Teller's amusing, instructive, and entertaining tales."--series, at head of upper cover. A variant issue bears the series title, "Teller's tales. New series. Number five. One copy of this variant issue bears an inscription dated 1850. Pagination includes [8] leaves of plates. Some plates are printed on yellow paper, and beige paper. In printed stiff-paper cover.
