| Catalog Notes | In verse, with pictures. Title and imprint statement transcribed from upper cover. Text also published by McLoughlin Bros. under the title Christmas boxes. Publisher's advertisement, p. [4] of wrapper, includes Over the hills "with designs by Miss Ida Waugh." Over the hills was copyrighted by McLoughlin Bros. in 1882. Several other works mentioned in advertisement were advertised as "New stock for the seasons of 1882 and 1883" in the McLoughlin Bros. catalogue for that year, including The cruise of the walnut shell, Hans Thumbling, and Afternoon tea. Both the catalogue and the advertisement price these titles at 18 cents each. Last page blank; pasted to printed wrapper. Wrapper design and illustrations chromolithographed.
