The American Antiquarian Society has a similar issue of Turner's pictured alphabet with the imprint statement, "Philadelphia: Turner & Fisher, 11 N. Sixth Street, New York: Turner & Fisher, 52 Chatham Street." Turner & Fisher published in Philadelphia between 1835 and 1850; it published in New York between 1836 and 1849. One leaf folded accordion-style to make twenty-six pages. In plain boards with printed label on upper cover. |
