| Catalog Notes | Wood-engraved vignette on title page has caption: Strong engraver on wood. Thomas W. Strong was located at 98 Nassau St., New York, between 1843 and 1866. An advertisement for the periodical Yankee notions is on p. [4] of wrapper. Yankee notions was issued between 1852 and at least 1875 (Cf. Union list of serials); advertisement notes "the ten years of its existence." The color printed wrapper suggests a publication date of ca. 1860-1866. "Yankee notions.
