Blair & Margaret Whitton in their Collector's guide to Raphael Tuck & Sons (p. 6). Illustrator Fanny Bowers illustrated the book Fur and feathers, issued by Raphael Tuck & Sons ca. 1893-1894. Has trademark of Raphael Tuck & Sons on front cover consisting of an easel bearing the initials "RTS," and a palette below it with the sign, "artistic series." Cover chromolithographed; text and illustrations lithographed in sepia ink. Has lithographed presentation page featuring the words, "to" and "from," p. [2]. |
