The description of Aunt Kate's series matches that given in the Catalogue of McLoughlin Bros., toy books ([1882]), but sixty-three titles are listed in Aunt Louisa's big picture books (an alternative title for Picture books for little children). In the Catalogue of McLoughlin Bros., toy books ([1880]) fifty eight titles are listed in the entry for Aunt Louisa's big picture books, but Aunt Kate's series is priced at 12 1/2 cents each.
