McLoughlin Bros. was located at 30 Beekman St., New York, between 1863 and April, 1870. (See obituary for John McLoughlin, Publishers' weekly, May 6, 1905.) "Electrotyped by Vincent Dill, no. 24 Beekman Street, New York."--at foot of p. [4] of wrapper. Vincent Dill was located at 24 Beekman between 1859 and 1866. Wrapper printed in red and black ink. "Uncle Frank's series. 16mo. Colored toys--8 pages. ... The house that Jack built ... Price 6 cents each."--series list, p. [4] of wrapper. Wood engravings hand-colored. Wood engraving, p.
