Cover title. Series statement at head of title. McLoughlin Bros. was located at 30 Beekman St., New York, between 1863 and April, 1870. (See obituary for John McLoughlin, Publishers' weekly, May 6, 1905.) "Electrotyped by Vincent Dill, no. 24 Beekman Street, New York"--at foot of p. [4] of wrapper, one copy in hand. Vincent Dill was located at 24 Beekman St. between 1859 and 1866. Wrapper design printed in red, green, and black ink. "Cinderella series. Mammoth 8vo.--Colored ... House that Jack built"--series list, p. [4] of wrapper. Textual wood engravings hand-colored. "McLoughlin Bros., manufacturers of toy books, games, &c., N.Y."--publisher's advertisement, p. [4] of wrapper. Publisher's advertisement found in the two copies are identical, except that one contains electrotyper's statement, the other does not.
