"Linen books. 6 cents each ... No. 267.--Little pet's a b c --linen. A primer of 12 pages, printed in colors, on linen cloth."--p. 15 of same catalogue. Variant issues noted. Issue in hand bears pictures of an archer, anchor, and arrow for the letter "A." Another issue bears pictures of an arch, apple tree, and antelope for "A." There is no overlap between alphabet pictures in these issues. The reading lessons are identical. |
