A verse adaptation of Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe. Title and imprint statement transcribed from p. [1] of printed wrapper. Caption title: Dunigan's history of Robinson Crusoe. [Originally published by Edward Dunigan?]. McLoughlin Bros., Inc. was located at 30 Beekman St., New York, between 1863 and April, 1870. (See obituary for John McLoughlin, Publishers' weekly, May 6, 1905.) Copy in hand bears an inscription dated 1864. Wood engravings, p. 5 and 6, signed by "Elton" (i.e., Robert H. Elton). "McLoughlin Brothers, manufacturers of toy books, games &c."--publisher's advertisement, p. [4] of wrapper.
