An abridgment of Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe. Title, imprint statement, and series transcribed from p. [1] of wrapper. Series statement transposed from head of wrapper. Publisher's advertisement, lower cover, lists the games Captive princess, Cats and mice, Life's mishaps, Tousel, Ambuscade, and Go-Bang (all at 1.00 each); and Pilgrim's progress, John Gilpin, and Monopolist (all at 1.75 each). The publisher's catalog for 1876-77 does not list Cats and mice. McLoughlin Brothers' catalogue (1879) lists all of these games at slightly higher prices. A catalog for 1878 was not available. Wrapper printed in red and black ink.
