By Lucy Aikin (i.e., "Mary Godolphin"). The 1882 McLoughlin Bros. edition of Robinson Crusoe included [6] chromolithographed plates; this edition includes those and also [16] black and white halftone plates signed by Walter Paget and P. Naumann. According to Houfe, Paget's illustrated edition of Robinson Crusoe was first published in 1896. Pagination does not include the [16] illustrated leaves of half tones that are conjugate with textual gatherings. Last page blank. Binding design blocked in brown, blue, orange, and silver. Signed "HD."
