Series transposed from head of title. McLoughlin Bros. was located at 30 Beekman St., New York, between 1863 and April, 1870. (See obituary for John McLoughlin, Publishers' weekly, May 6, 1905.) Wrapper printed in red, green, and black ink. Wrapper illustration signed, "Howard del." (i.e., Justin H. Howard?) Some textual illustrations signed by "Arnold sc."
